Hiraeth

Named after the Welsh word for a deep longing for a home that may never have existed, Hiraeth is the collaborative project of guitarist Mira Chen and producer Elias Voss. Their sound is a lush collision of reverb-drenched guitars, sub-bass frequencies, and fractured vocal samples, evoking the feeling of driving through fog on a coastal highway at twilight. Their album 'Nocturne Atlas' is a map of imagined places, each track a destination that exists only in the liminal space between waking and sleep. They are currently working on their second Project Lyra release.
